CodeRED 2007
TEENS VIDEO CONTEST : “PINAS IS TRULY AWESOME” MECHANICS

1. Open to all Filipino teens ages 12 to 19 years old.
2. Participants must be non- professional film director and not in the film or related business.
3. All entries must be maximum 15 seconds long and in .mpeg or .avi file format.
4. All entries must be original and unpublished anywhere here and abroad.
5. Entries must be sent to www.coderedmag.com.ph.
6. Entries must be accompanied with the following information: Name, Age, Home Address, Contact numbers, Email address, Name of School, Title of video and a maximum of 100 words write-up about the video.
7. Upon submission, the ownership of entries shall automatically vest upon CodeRED, which shall thereafter have the exclusive right to edit, publish and otherwise use the entries. For purposes of this contest, “entries” shall mean the video, its title and write-up accompanying the video.
8. By entering the Awesome ‘Pinas contest, all participants are deemed to have agreed to the publication of their names in the magazine.
9. Participants can send as many entries per category as they wish.
10. CATEGORIES :
• People – solo / group shots
• Objects
• Places
• Environment
11. Judges will be selecting the top five (5) entries per category. These will then be printed in the magazine and readers will be invited to vote for their choice. The entry with the highest number of votes will be declared the winner in that category.
12. There will only be one winner per category. In case of a tie, CodeRED will select the final winner.
13. Judges decision is final and irrevocable.
14. All winners will get his/her work featured in the magazine plus the following:
    • One (1) Grand Prize winner per category: P3,000 cash and a year-long subscription of CodeRED to be given to their school of choice.
    • All Prizes are tax-free.
15. Winners will be advised via special mail delivery. Winners will then bring this mail, one (1) valid ID (school, work, voter’s, drivers license or passport) and a copy of CodeRED magazine to claim his/her prizes at the CodeRED office – 3rd floor Don Bosco Provincial House, Pasay Road corner Pasong Tamo, Makati City. Representatives will need to bring the same items as above plus a signed authorization letter by the actual winner.
16. Contest starts September 1, 2007. Extended until midnight of January 31, 2008.
17. Employees of CodeRED, Don Bosco Press, Salesiana Publishers and Word & Life Publications and its other sister companies and their advertising agencies and their relatives up to the first degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from joining this contest.
